When Kenny came to us to build his Chevy ll we were stoked. We knew this car had potential to be awesome in the end. After floor pans and rust repair around the front / rear window this car was ready to build.
A crate LS3 was the perfect power plant for this light little car. More than enough power to burn the tires off or get it down the strip. But also left room for improvements later down the road. Because we knew this car would be taking a beating we chose to run a T56 Magnum transmission from Tick performance. A shortened ford 8.8 Rear end with Custom axles fit perfectly under this 66″.
In the front end we chose to install a Church Boys front clip. It gave us more room to package the engine, rack & pinion steering, disc brakes and coilovers. A set of mono leafs and CalTracs in the rear set this car up to hook.
The Church boys front clip really allowed us to clean up the engine bay. We shaved the firewall and a set of steel inner fenders were made. All painted in satin black. Wires were tucked making the engine bay look very minimal and clean.
The interior in this Nova was in need of some serious help. After a fresh coat of gloss black paint we sound deadened the entire inside of car and installed a carpet kit from TMI. A pair of TMI front bucket seats and headliner were the perfect choice for the style of the build. The Holley 6.86 Pro Dash was the perfect choice to keep the dash clean.
