Matt’s 1972 C10

This C10 came to us with tons of potential, but it needed some help.
After doing some extensive rust repair we really dove into this one.

Engine & Drivetrain

Matt wanted to make some power but also wanted to drive this truck hard. He chose to go with an LS3/ Tr6060 6 speed combo. After installing a BTR stage 2 cam and a Spec Clutch this truck layed down a solid xxx to the wheels. Sounds great through the custom 3″ stainless exhaust. We knew from the start that the factory rear end wouldn’t do. So we went with a Quick Performance 9″ loaded with Wilwood brakes.

Engine Bay

We cleaned up the engine bay by shaving / paint matching the firewall. Everything else under the hood was painted a satin black including the fiberglass inner fenders from slosh tubz. An aluminum Cold Case radiator keeps this LS3 cool even in the summer months.

Interior

The interior in this 72′ was also ready for a refresh. Full sound dampening installed and a fresh carpet really reduced noise in the cab. A set of Dakota Digital gauges clean up the dash and make this truck a joy to drive. We also installed a full JL Audio system with a powered 10″ sub behind the seat. By using a bluetooth receiver to control the audio we were able to keep the dash clean. To finish out the interior we built a custom roll bar powder coated to match.
